    ORIGINAL HORSE BRASS FROM ENGLAND
    If you want horse brasses that have actually been worn by and adorned horses, the way to tell is you'll find two little knobs (left & right of center) on the back side that have been filed down for selling. The difference in quality may make the difference in the look of a collection.
    The making of brasses in England started in Medieval times. The brass casting in the 1800s.
